SWEET CHERRY KISSES (Open RP)
Who : Loki Laufeyson, Nick Fury, Malashree Rasali
When : Mid-day after Loki gained his ring
Where : SHIELD Headquarters
Loki didn't know if he could maintain his magic for long enough to carry out a lengthy conversation via magical telephone, because the indigo ring on his finger seemed to affect his energy fields in an odd way. Loki really, really wanted to talk to Nick about the whole thing, and sooner than later. Instead of fretting, he calmly made a dozen peanut butter and apple butter sandwiches. He packed them into a picnic basket, along with three dozen cookies from the local bakery and an overabundance of red-and-yellow Ranier cherries. Loki well knew that this was too much food for himself and Nick, but he figured Mala would want some lunch, too.
After locking up the house, Loki scooped up the basket and dangled it from his elbow. He was still wearing the clothes (if you could call them such) that his ring had given him... mainly because it seemed right, and also because he wasn't sure if the ring wouldn't just transform any more pairs of Nick's khakis into loincloths. He could feel the energy field the ring put out, could feel it affecting his own natural energy field, and thought it best to let things follow their own course for the moment. Sighing, Loki ran a hand absentmindedly down his bare, muscled stomach before teleporting to Nick's office.
He gave a surprised Nick Fury a small kiss as soon as he materialized, putting the basket down on a stack of paperwork on Nick's desk.
"Sweetheart, I know you and Mala are busy, but something completely out of the ordinary happened to me today, and I strongly suspect that it happened because you- and, possibly, SHIELD- are going to have something intense to deal with very soon." Loki smiled at his husband-to-be, gesturing to the basket. "I also brought peanut-butter and apple-butter sandwiches for you and Mala, and some cookies and cherries. You'll have to get one of your Agents to bring us drinks, though, because I couldn't think of where we keep the thermos."
